Hi we are looking for suggestions for places to visit on our way to Venice from Stuttgart. We wish to leave Stuttgart on the 20th June and arrive in Venice afternoon of the 24th.
There seems to be so many options, we would really like help with our itinerary.
I forgot to add we are traveling by public transport or blablacar if we can get one, and now decided to base ourselves in Munich. Would prefer to see country side rather than cities. Any suggestions for day trips would be very appreciated.

At this point, I think you should give us a better overview of your whole trip. Still traveling by public transport? If you're starting in France, are you going to Switzerland before Germany? If not, then Luzern is an easy solution. A route via Munich, Innsbruck, Bolzano, and Verona also offers plenty of attractive possibilities.
