Hi All
We (6 adults aged from 21 - 50) will be in Berlin for New Year's Eve and were wondering what we could do to celebrate. We are aware of a street party stretching from the Brandenburg Gate to we are not sure where, but was also wondering about what other options there are. Can anyone suggest a good venue to see the new year in? Is the Berlin Hofbrauhaus a good option?

Re: street party at Brandenburg Gate. If there is a security concern, the street party may be cancelled. I was in Berlin during Euro 2015 in June and the fan mile for viewing the game on huge monitors was cancelled - no reason given. Everyone had to scramble for seats in bars and restaurants (if you didn't have a ticket for the game). Reservations filled up fast and admissions became pricey.
