The train drivers' union GDL is once again calling for a strike. The strike is to run from 2 a.m. on Tuesday until 2 a.m. on Wednesday, the GDL announced.

Update: Deutsche Bahn has filed a lawsuit against this strike. The court will decide today (March 11).
Update: Deutsche Bahn has failed for the time being in its attempt to stop the planned train drivers' strike by legal means. The Frankfurt Labor Court rejected a temporary injunction against the GDL's call to strike. An appeal against the decision is possible at the Hessian State Labor Court.

In Frankfurt, the U-bahns and Strassenbahns are on strike from Wed. through Friday this week. Today it was the S-bahns. Makes getting to work and home again a bit tough.
