Strasbourg to Pfrozheim - Black Forest

I'm just going to toss this out there. I'm going to be doing a day trip from Strasbourg to the small town of Göbrichen just north of Pfrozheim. I'm wondering if working some Black Forest sites into the trip would be an interesting addition to an otherwise forgettable drive. (FYI Göbrichen is an old ancestral town we'll be visiting).

Cheers!

OK, the Black Forest is not Yellowstone or Yosemite, but, except for Baden-Baden, it's pretty nice. Personally, I like the northern Black Forest. I've spent a lot of time there (Bad Herrenalb, Bad Wildbad, Freudenstadt). If the Schwarzwaldbahn is southern, I like it too, but I've been elsewhere in the southern Black Forest (Titisee) and I thought it was just a tourist trap.

If you are going from Strasbourg to Pforzheim by car, I would go first to Bad Wildbad (great spa), then down the Enz river to Pforzheim. Or you could go further east to the Fachwerk town of Calw, hometown of Hermann Hesse, then down the Nagold river to Pforzheim.
