Should I book the tour to Newschwanstein and Linderhof

Hi Y'all,
I have very confused and need some helps. I make tickets reservation to the Newschwanstein or Hohenschwangau on the castle official site. The page said "Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castle can only be visited within a guided tour at a fixed admission time." Does it mean I need to book the tour seperatedly? Is the tickets already included the tour guide?
Also, Can I visit both Newschwanstein and Lindehof from Munich (if I leave Munich very early) in one day?

Your response is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Phan

The ticket reservations are for the castles’ tours. You can only go inside on the tour.

Does this mean I can only go inside with a tour from a tour company like viarie.com even though I made the reservations for the tickets? I am sorry, very confused.

Thanks,
Phan

You can go inside with a tour only. How are you getting there from Munich. Linderhof is a bit of a drive from the other two castles, so unless you are with a tour group that would take you there or have a car, it would not be as efficient to access Linderhof on the same day.
Did your booking on their website provide you with entry times for Newschwanstein or Hohenschwangau?

The castle tours are run by the castles themselves. Other tours are just to get you there and maybe have some other stops on the trip
