We will be in Seiffen in mid September and would like to go from there directly to Prague. We will not have a rental car so we need to use buses and/or trains. On Czech websites we have seen a bus from Kliny ( 8 km from Seiffen) and a train or bus from Litvinov ( 18 km from Seiffen.) These buses and/or trains make the trip in 1-1/2 - 2hrs compared to going all the way thru Dresden and down, which takes 5-6 hours. Problem is I cannot find a way across the border from Seiffen to either of these two towns. Has anyone ever down this and, if so, how?

Well, I've contacted the Seiffen Tourism dept using the above link as well as the hotel in which I'm staying in Seiffen. But after over a week I've received no answer from either one.
Am I being impatient or is it definitely time to start looking for a Plan B ( skip Seiffen or skip Prague.)?
I'm only looking for a 20km ride and very willing to pay for it.

There is no connection with public transport from Seiffen to the villages on the other side (on both sides it's like the end of the world), but you could simply take a taxi. There are three taxi companies in Seiffen:
