My husband and I will be in Frankfurt for New Year’s Eve 2022 after a Christmas markets cruise. We are seeking ideas about where to spend that evening in Frankfurt. We are wanting to stay on land, as opposed to an evening cruise, because we have an early morning flight on January 1, but we would like to be within view of the fireworks we have heard about. Also would love some nice food and music as the clock hits midnight.

Many hotels have special parties on this evening, that include drinks and dinner. Not sure if you have your hotel booked, but the alternative is to get a hotel with a view? Lindner on the river or perhaps the Marriott by the Messe? Ask for a top floor. A different alternative, would be dinner on top of the Main Tower or at the top of the former Henninger Turm (I need to look up the name) though they already may all be booked.

Surprised Henninger is gone, but it's been a long time. I think anywhere along the Main River near midnight will be great by foot after your Silvester dinner. Bring your own Champagne, but don't miss your flight! Maybe you can buy some rockets and join in? Be safe!

They tore the Henninger Turm down a long time ago as it was falling apart, but built an apt. building there that looks almost like it. Restaurant on top, but it doesn't rotate, which is sad.
