What a surprise to find Leberknodel zupe and weisswurz in the Galleria Kaufhaus cafe. The cafe itself (4th floor) isn't mentioned in Rick's latest (13th ed.) as a suggested cheaper option for good food in Wurzburg, where he does mention it for other cities. They stop serving at 5.
After you eat head downstairs to the basement. They have a great little grocery store with some great delicacies. Since you mentioned the Galleria they have great cafes in Regensburg, Berlin, Koln, Dresden etc.
Hi,
Leberknödel Suppe is all over Germany well known as well as in Austria.
Weißwurst is typical for Munich but of course also in the rest of Bavaria and Salzburg people eating it. So no wonder in Würzburg they are serving it :-)
