S-Bahn or Lufthansa bus to get from airport to the Nordfriedhof station?

I am trying to decide the best way to get myself and two teenage daughters (jet lagged after an overnight flight) to our hotel which is a short walk from the Nordfriedhof exit. The budget traveler in me says to take the S-Bahn, but the practical mom part of me says to pay extra and take the Lufthansa bus directly. I know we will be riding the subway later that day and plan to buy the group ticket. I guess I am just trying to decide if there is a substantial benefit to not starting the day figuring out the ticket purchases/a new subway system/ carrying our luggage on the trains. Thanks as always for your input!

You didn't mention it, but you seem to be talking about Munich and going to the Nordfriedhof U-Bahn Station.

Being as the Lufthansa bus stops there (Munich Nord/Schwabing), it might be the best idea. Otherwise you have to take the S-Bahn to Marienplatz, then change to the U-6. You end up in exactly the same place, you pay a bit more with fewer headaches.

PS If any of the teenagers are 13 or 14, they get get 5.50 EUR, otherwise they pay the adult 10.50 EUR fare.

Make the decision when you get there. I never feel jet lagged after getting off the plane just excitement or culture shock. The jet lag comes later, In the age of Google maps with street images It is pretty easy if you and two others to study how to get there in advance.

It might help you remember the correct spelling is you understood the meaning of the name. A "friedhof" is a cemetery and "nord" is north, so Nordfriedhof is a stop near the northern cemetery.

My hotel of choice is right next to the Nordfriedhof U Bahn stop , and I have used the bus in the past in spite of the few Euro additional cost to save a bit of personal wear and tear , You evidently grasp the pros of this , take the bus ! By the way , is this The Pullman Hotel ?

No, it is the Novotel Suites Parkstadt Schwabing.

Thank you for the answers. I am about to buy tickets directly from the bus company and my teens (13 year old twins) get the low price of 11 euro round trip tickets. I decided I am willing to pay a total of 39 euro for the three of us to get both to the city and back when it is time to fly out !
