Does anyone know of a really good place in Rüdesheim (R) to get a Rüdesheimer Kaffee - or which you would say is the "best"?

I hate trying to recommend a coffee shop, but you're actually going to have better luck in a bar. Or you could walk down to the Asbach shop in town and get the info direct. Rudesheim isn't that big. Try the Altdeutsch.

They are all made the same using the same kind of cup.
Two cubes of sugar, a small bottle of Asbach Uralt, light it, stir it with a long spoon, add hot coffee and top with a mound of whipped cream and choc. sprinkles.
The Ice Cream place along the Drosselgasse seems to be the showiest though.
Seriously, though, you can get it in every restaurant. The Asbach store is fun too. Lots of pralines filled with Asbach.
