In two weeks, we will be spending two nights in Rothenburg. We will leave there and drive to Fussen. I would like to buy tickets to Neuschwanstein castle that afternoon, but is that practical? I'm getting conflicting messages about advance planning for the castle. Should I buy the tickets ahead and just go early in the morning the next day, or try for that day, risk not being able to get a ticket, and use the next morning as a backup plan? Any advice is appreciated...
