Does anyone know the best way to get from Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber to Munich? What are the best tickets to buy/trains to take? Can I purchase the Bayern ticket to get to Munich from Rothenburg? If so, how do I buy it, how long does it take to get to Munich?
I’m in Rothenburg now, and leave for Munich tomorrow.

Yes, you can use a Bayern Ticket to get to Munich. You can look up schedules at www.bahn.com. Select "local transport only" in the options menu. Leave after 9 am. You buy the ticket out of the vending machine at the Rothenburg train station. The machine will also print out itineraries so yo know where to change trains along the way to Munich. I am guessing about 3 hours to Munich.
If you're not sure go to the Bahnhof. The folks who man the information window in RoT speak English.
First eligible train is at 9:06 with train changes at Steinach and Treuchtlingen, getting to Munich at 12:21.
