Rostock Laundromat near cruise port?

I will be doing a budget, 15 day cruise with the half-way point being a long day at Rostock. With two friends, we will have enough laundry to do a couple of loads of wash before heading north to Norway on the ship. No way are we going to pay for on board laundry services! I recall laundromat prices being steep in Germany, but that is nothing compared to on board charges! And, since it will be a cool time of the year, hand laundry and drip dry is not going to work for heavier clothing!

Any other tips for good Wifi in port and/or good eats, much appreciated!

Can't help you with your laundry. The ports have wifi, I would not call it "good", especially when all the crew and most of the cruisers come back to the port and try to get the wifi. Find a good coffee shop (or a starbucks) because they will have a good strong signal.
