Rooms that Sleep 3

Just enter number of people and rooms into a search engine. Done. Tons of hotels / hostels offering that in Germany - maybe more in towns than on countryside.

Do not book a room for 2 and use it with 3 - never in Germany. Could easily end up in a crime act (fraud).

I was able to find apartment hotels in most of the cities for a trip I'm planning. You could sleep 3 or more in the apartments.
