We did a river cruise through Germany on Ama Waterways a few years ago. We started in Nuremburg and ended up in Cologne. We also spent a few days in Munich prior to the cruise, and just took a train from Munich to Nuremburg. We really enjoyed the cruise. It was a nice way to see a lot of small towns along the rivers.
