Ride apps in Germany

If you request directions between 2 locations on Google maps, it now shows ride-sharing options as well as the other usual suspects (car, public transport, bike, etc.). But @periscope is right - a train is going to be much cheaper and easier than any ride-sharing.

Berlin has an extensive public transport network based on the S-Bahn, the U-Bahn (subway)) and buses, and regional trains between Potsdam and Berlin or any other small town in the greater berlin area. I don't use ride-share in Germany, not an option.
