We're planning a weekend trip from Frankfurt and looking for any vineyards or unique river properties to stay. Any suggestions?

Kloster Eberbach - a former monastery; partly known from the movie "The name of the rose".
Weingut Kögler in quaint Eltville.
Hotel Krone which cooperates with several vineyards in Martinsthal.
All not too far from the airport and at south end of Upper Mid Rhine Valley. Towns Wiesbaden and Mainz are in good and easy reach.

Mark posted the exact same ones as I would have. Kloster Eberbach is gorgeous and Eltville is my favorite town on the Rhein. They have a lovely panoramic walk along the Rhein. Lots of good restaurants in town too, though Kloster Eberbach is known for good food too.
