Hi - trying to confirm if there is a ferry that goes between Assmannshausen and approx. Rheinstein Burg/ Castle? Visiting Rudesheim and planning on riding up to Niederwald Monument. If Aamanshausen has a ferry then I’ll chairlift down to that. If not then I’ll retrace my steps and take Rudesheim -Bingen ferry, then hike to Rheinstein.

The Bingen-Rüdesheimer Ferry (click on British flag for English) has some sort of a ring tour that goes between Assmannhausen and Rheinstein castle.

Thanks so much. I thought of them just doing river cruises and not ferry shuttle stops per se. I should have explored better. Much appreciated.

The Bingen-Rüdesheimer CRUISE BOAT division cooperates in the "Ringticket" promotion which involves the two lifts and a cruise component. Ferry crossings exist as well - and you can use the Bingen-Rüdesheim ferry if it's more convenient than the ship schedule for that part of the river route.
