We are doing a Viking cruise in April. Trying to figure out if we will have enough time to see the Fortress of Ehrenbreitstein in the morning then take the tour to the Marksburg Castle tour at 2:00. Any advise? Thank you!

The lift to the fortress opens at 9:30

So I suspect it would be no problem to return on the lift back to Koblenz for your 2 pm cruise-offered tour of Marksburg.
