Rhine Cruise beginning in Bingen

We are traveling from Baden-Baden to Bingen to begin a Rhine cruise on K-D. Which train station in Bingen is the best to travel to for the easiest access to the KD landing stage at Rheinpromenade? (There are two listed Hbf and Stadt) Also, how far is it from the train station to the landing stage and is there a bus or cab easily available?
Thanks!

I believe the train station you want closest to the dock is called Bingen (Rhein) Stadt. Using maps.google.com, the train station is about 400 yards from the docks, which equates to a 5-10 minute walk. There may be a shuttle there but Im not sure. You'll have to find out when you get there. But, with such a short distance, it should be a pretty easy walk.

Perfect, thank you. While we are at it, what are the options on the boats for luggage? We are moving on from Koblenz, so can't leave it in a locker.
Thanks!

Yes, the Bingen Hbf is the hub for trains between Mainz, Koblenz, and Kaiserslautern/Saarbrücken. It's across the Nahe river from the town of Bingen. Bingen Stadtbhf is the next stop on the way to Mainz, next to the Rhein and close to the boat docks.
