Looking for recommendation for restaurants in Fussen. Looking for something local and cosy. We have 2 boys ages 5 years and 3 years. thank you!

Wife & I had lunch in Altstadt von Füssen at Herzl am Rathaus, but there are numerous other cute restaurants with outdoor seating close by. You can also find bakeries & ice cream shops to satisfy kids. It's a very nice, quaint town. In nearby Schwangau we had dinner at Schlossbrauhaus Schwangau, which also was very family friendly.

I'm not much on recommending restaurants but I did like the Zum Schwanen, near St Mang Monastery. It is cosy, full of locals and a few Croats (watching the TV in the back room if there is a football game on). Good beer and wine, nice food. The spicy, slivered liver with rice was tasty.
