Assuming you want German cuisine, die gute alte deutsche bürgerliche Küche, I have two here, one in Hamburg and one in Berlin.
In Hamburg across from the central station, Hamburg Hbf is: Paulaner's Miraculum" on Kirchenallee 45, located in the corner. It's a cash only place, if that should make any difference to you.
In Berlin keep in mind that the notion one cannot get German cuisine there is a fairy tale.
The restaurant is located in Berlin-Köpenick on the S-bahn 3 line.
"Restauration Zur Gardestube" Rosenstraße 3. It has pre-1914 motif, actually 1906, based on the incident of that year and the play by C. Zuckmayer, "Der Hauptmann von Köpenick" (Captain) It's ca. a 40 minute walk from the Köpenick S-Bahn station, or you can take the bus 164 to Rathaus Köpenick, which also has a resturant, "Ratskeller Köpenick." This is a bit more pricey.
