Kind of a dumb question but I only just thought of it recently. I arrive in Munich in 2 weeks, and with people arriving from all over the globe for Oktoberfest, I'm guessing restaurant reservations are more essential than usual?
Reservations are always a good idea. Most of the Oktoberfest attendees will be at the beer gardens and not in the downtown area. So not how much pressure is on the main restaurants.
Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I suppose that will be the case with the majority of people at the Therisenwiese on a given day. Still, I guess making reservations can't hurt.
