Reserving entry to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau with Mehriagesticket ???

With the discount 14 day Mehriagesticket entry to Neuschwanstein is included but not Hohenschwangau.

However I'm stumped at how to pre-book the entries to both of theses places to avoid showing up and waiting in long lines for hours. There are no options on the www.hohenschwangau.de website that I see for buying or reserving Neuschwanstein using the Mehriagesticket to cover the entry cost. To see them both I would think I need to book the King's Ticket which books you into both of them, I don't think I should be booking them separately, and even doing so there is still no option that I see for paying for the Neuschwanstein castle with the Mehriagesticket.

Anybody know how to do this or if you use the Mehriagesticket to book Neuschwanstein are you stuck not being able to reserve tickets ahead of time?

I had noticed that too.

You might try calling or emailing them (number and address on the website you linked).

There are two lines at the Hohenschwangau kiosk, one for any ticket (Neuschwanstein, King's) which includes Neuschwanstein and one for reservation pickup and Hohenschwangau by itself. There is almost never a line at the Hohenschwangau ticket counter, and you will have to go there anyway to pick up your Neuschwanstein tour reservations, so arrange the Hohenschwangau ticket for before or after the Neuschwanstein tour when you pick up the Neuschwanstein ticket.

there is still no option that I see for paying for the Neuschwanstein
castle with the Mehriagesticket.

Don't know what you do about that.

When I first read you post I wondered "what is a Mehriagesticket. I've never heard of any thing with that name in Germany. Maybe it's a 3rd party selling the ticket for unlimited entrances to Bavarian castles, gardens, and lakes, the Mehrtagesticket (Mehr Tages Ticket, more days ticket)." Then I realized, it's just a misspelling. The 'i' should be a 't'.

Thanks for the quick reply. Doing some more digging I finally found this on the http://www.schloesser.bayern.de website

"Ticket reservation for Neuschwanstein Castle
Because of the large numbers of visitors to this sight, we recommend that you reserve a ticket for Neuschwanstein at the ticket centre in Hohenschwangau well in advance for the day you want. Tickets for Neuschwanstein can be reserved online at www.hohenschwangau.de/ticketcenter.0.html.

If you have a 14-day ticket, an annual season ticket or the "Königsschlösser" combination ticket, please simply reserve a "normal" ticket for the time you want. You will be asked for credit card details to guarantee your booking, but the card will not be charged. When you collect your ticket from the ticket centre in Hohenschwangau, present your valid 14-day, annual or "Königsschlösser" combination ticket; you will then only be required to pay the reservation fee.

Please note that Hohenschwangau Palace is not administered by the Bavarian Palace Department and hence cannot be visited with the 14-day ticket, annual ticket or "Königsschlösser" combination ticket!"

I think I will book 2 of the KÖNIGS-TICKET which will reserve the two castles and let them sort it out at the window when I arrive.
