Regional trains from Frankfurt to Berlin

Hello,
I am planning for a day trip to Berlin from Frankfurt as a solo traveller in last weekend of May. Will Happy Weekend Ticket (Schönes-Wochenende-Ticket) work from Frankfurt to Berlin? i tried to explore through bahn.de and rmv.de Website to get Information on regional trains with Schönes-Wochenende-Ticket but couldn't get any. If there are any regional trains to berlin or what other cheap Option I can try?

Thanks in advance !

Regards,
Anuam

Using only regional trains would take forever. Even with a direct ICE it is 4 hours and 15 minutes. Using regional trains takes more than 8 hours. Time enough to get there and turn around and come back.

Right now, you can get an advance purchase nonrefundable Sparpreis same-day return ticket for about 100 EUR. Leave about 6 am and return about 7 pm. Otherwise, forget it

The (Flix)bus will take forever too (add at least one hour to the scheduled time). It's simply not doable with local transport.

On the DB website ( https://www.bahn.com/en/view/index.shtml ). There is an option to select "Local transport only". This will give you the regional trains on which the Schönes Wochenende ticket is valid.
But, it will take over 8 hours and 3-4 changes of trains from Frankfurt am Main to Berlin, not a good plan.

Beware there are two Frankfurts in Germany, Frankfurt (Main) and Frankfurt (Oder). Be sure to select the correct one.

Thanks everyone for the valuable Inputs. i think the best option is ICE Train with return on next day.
