I am taking the train to Regensburg from Munich for a day at the Christmas markets. I understand there are four separate markets there. How would I get from market to market? Walk? How far apart are they? Is there public transportation?

It is about 20 minutes by foot from Schloss Thurn and Taxis to Katharinenspital with Neupfarrpaltz and Lucrezia between them. I cannot help you with public transportation. The Rail station is about 13 minutes from Thurn and Taxis, so you will get your 10,000 steps for the day!

We took the train and then walked from there to all four markets. It is so amazing, especially the Thurn and Taxis Palace!! We went to several towns on that trip and Regensburg was one of our favorites!! Enjoy!!

Schloss Thurn and Taxis Does not open until 3 PM. We are arriving at 11AM. I’ll probably taxi to Katharinenspital and then walk back to Neupfarrpaltz and Lucrezia then finish up at Thurn and Taxis for the train back at 8 PM.
