Are you looking for a longer cruise that lasts several days or more or a short day (or half-day) cruise?

CStanley, I believe most people on this forum go with the short day trip cruises along the Rhine or Mosel, so I doubt you'll find a rec for what you are looking for here. You could check with KD - https://www.k-d.com/en/ - which is the largest cruise operator in the Middle Rhine area, and see what they offer. Another option would be to start with Trip Advisor, which has a cruise section. https://www.tripadvisor.com/CruiseDestination-g4-Europe

Are you aware that the Rhine is a major shipping route, not remotely like the canals that many 8-20 person boats navigate, say, in France? There's plenty to see on the Rhine, but only the Middle Rhine is particularly scenic. Do you know anyone who has done this and recommended it to you?

The Mosel is quieter, but I'm a little dubious about enough walking-only daily sights for multiple days, other than Trier and Burg Eltz. I mean, Bernkastel-Kues and Traben-Trarbach would make up a good day, but nobody is going to walk from one to the other. A certain amount of regimentation is required because the best wineries require reservations to taste.
