We like the Gasthof Goldener Greifen for its rooms and meals.

We have enjoyed meals at the Gasthaus Butz but never stayed there.
Both these places have good quality at a reasonable price.
Guide books and websites will list specific sights within the town. I will just add one of our favorite activities is to take walks outside the walls and down into the Tauber Valley.
