We did Leutasch Gorge in the rain and the weather did not detract from the experience.

You didn't say if you are looking for alternatives to Mittenwald or alternatives in Mittenwald. There are lots of indoor shops and restaurants in the pedestrian zone of Mittenwald. Outside of Mittenwald, most places - Zugspirtze, Linderhof, Ettal, Neuschwanstein, Seefeld - involve outdoor activities and the rain will be a factor. Herrenchiesee is too far and requires a long walk or carriage ride. Not good in the rain.
There is so much mist in a Klamm that you might not notice the rain.
