Rail Strike Dates, Duration?

Has there been any indication of dates for the possible Rail Strike?

Our plans by rail:

28 Nov Frankfurt Airport to Aschaffenburg
30 Nov Aschaffenburg to Freiburg im Breisgau
2 Dec Freiburg to Basel

Can I assume that we can catch a taxi from the Frankfurt Airport to Aschaffenburg?

The last time that we got caught in a strike, it started at ~2 pm (14:00 Uhr) and lasted ~ 24 hours. We made early connections to reach our destination. Any indication if format will be the similar: short lightening strikes?

Yes, but that won't probably be not necessary since there are several connections operated by non-DB carriers, e.g. a train dep 10:46 operated by HLB (Hessische Landesbahn)

Can I assume that we can catch a taxi from Freiburg to Basel?

Yes

For the Frankfurt - Freiburg leg I'd book a Flixbus, either at 7:10 or 8:15 or 11:45

Thanks SLA019, I have ridden the HLB train before. I am glad it will still be operating.

I have bought a Flixbus ticket. It is good insurance.
