Has anyone used Rail&Fly with DB and American Airlines. I just heard about Rail&Fly today in another post. I can find no information about it on American Airlines website, even though they are listed on DB's website as a partner.
Did you see this?

Please post a solution when you have one for other passengers.
I've known about Rail&Fly for years, and I think it is a great idea. Unlike Saver Fares, it is a discounted fare that is not "train specific". You can use it on any train that day, whether your arriving flight is on time or not. And you should be able to use it to a train station not serviced my airlines.
However, for the most part, I have found it difficult to use. I don't know why. It's an offer of the Bahn. Why do the airlines make it so hard to find? I think for the most part, you cannot book it unless you book directly, person-to-person, with the airline or use a travel agent.
I think I once saw it offered on a Lufthansa booking site.
If anyone knows how to use it, let us know.
I went on the Lufthansa website and under Help, put in Rail&Fly, and it said you can access it using "additional services", but it didn't say where you could find additional services.
