Does munich have uber/lyft?

Munich has GREAT public transportation (underground, suburban and regional rail, streetcars, buses).
I've spent 16 nights in Munich in 6 trips there, plus 4 changes of transportation without an overnight stay. I've never needed anything but public transportation.
It's so easy getting from place to place in Munich with public transportation. Get familiar with it (schedules, maps) on MVV-Muenchen.de.

The short answer is they don't operate they way you would expect in the US so don't count on it. Plan on using public transportation and regular taxis. Uber doesn't have much advantage in German over other transportation options.
