I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a private transfer from Passau Germany to Munich. My husband and I have a tight schedule to make our flight so train isn’t possible however, the private transfers that I have seen online are very expensive. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

All private transfers are very expensive. Probably not as expensive as changing your airline tickets, but you might check that out anyway.
Or perhaps you could arrange to leave your cruise early.
Note that "a private transfer from Passau Germany to Munich" is a longer / more expensive trip than Passau to Munich Airport. If your inquiries have specified "Munich" as your destination, you might be getting quotes that are too high.

A private transfer won't necessarily be that much faster. Its about a 2 hr drive, and around 2h20 by train. (You do not need to travel all the way to Munich, if that is what you were assuming).

You can get from Passau to Munich Airport without going via the main station in 2 hours and 15 minutes with one transfer in Landshut, e.g.: Passau dep. 10:26 - Landshut arr. 11:43 / dep. 12:05 - MUC arr. 12:41. A taxi transfer is at most half an hour faster, assuming there is no stau on the highway.
