We are visiting the Moselle Valley area in late September, staying in Cochem. We’d love to visit a few wineries and prefer to have a driver versus renting a car. Are there private drivers or companies that offer daily driver service in this area? We are not looking for a tour guide. Thank you.
The wine venues tend to be right in town, and the towns are small, so you can typically just walk to them.
Go to google maps and search Weingut Traben-Trarbach - you will see what I mean. Weingut = winery.
Getting to a town like Traben-Trarbach in the first place is easy to do by car or by train.

Weingut Trossen (in Traben-Trarbach) and certain other wineries have rooms like you see on their website:

In connection with their operations some wineries also offer cellar tours and maybe a Planwagenfahrt (covered wagon ride) that takes you into the vineyards for tasting and a talk about their business.

Wineries stay afloat also by offering accommodations, usually in town, occasionally in the vineyards:

The Trossen Winery is just one of many similar examples.
I don't have any handy links in English for you - you can run the pages above through a translator.
Are there private drivers or companies that offer daily driver service in this area?
In Germany it is not permitted that private drivers carry people on a commercial base. Therefore the original business model of Uber is illegal in Germany. You can find companies or commercially registered people that offer such services. For short or medium distances taxis are a good choice. Taxi rides are metered and the drivers are educated and registered (four digit number in rear window, not car ID plate).
