Pre-book tickets for Nymphenburg Palace?

Is it advisable to Pre-book tickets for Nymphenburg Palace for the week of April 13?

Thanks,

My husband and I visited the palace last August. There was a line at the ticket office when we arrived, and we waited about 10 minutes. The palace grounds were so lovely that we ended up spending most of the day there. Each time I saw the ticket line, it was always shorter than the one we stood in. (Just our luck!) Even on a busy summer day, pre-booking tickets didn't seem necessary.

We used the 14-day pass for the Bavarian palaces, which includes access to Nymphenburg. If you are planning to visit a number of locations covered by the pass, it's a real money saver.

We had a great day touring the Nymphenburg Palace and then the adjacent Munich Botanical Garden. The latter was a surprise and we just meandered over, stopped in their cafe and meandered again stopping to smell the roses ((metaphorically speaking). Safe travels.
