Hi,
We will be traveling from Prague to Munich and only have one day, and don't care if its by bus or train but would like to include a one way boat or ferry ride on the Danube if possible. Does anyone have info on what city we would go to from Prague near the Danube to catch a ferry ride ? We would like the boat or ferry ride to be about 2 to 4 hours long, the catch a bus or train to Munich. We can arrive as late as 9-10 pm in Munich.

Off the top of my head, Regensburg would seem like a natural choice. It's on the way, and there are boat cruises, including a very popular route towards Wahalla (Vahalla) which is a monument to "great Germans". I don't care that much about seeing Wahalla, but the scenery is supposed to get more impressive as you go further. There's also a brewery-monestary accessible from a dock on the river, but I don't remember the name - but if you searched on "boat trips from Regensburg brewery" I'm sure you'd come up with the relevant information. Regensburg is well worth visiting on it's own.
But you'd have to leave Prague pretty early, probably catching a bus to Regensburg, then it's an easy train ride to Munich.
