I hope you guys are well and safe.
I'm trying to figure an itinerary. I arrive in Prague toward the end of August and I was wondering whether I should enter in to Germany and work my way to Munich for Oktoberfest than go to Hungary or go to Hungary and then Germany.
It does make more sense to visit Germany after Prague because it's closer, but I wanted to go to Hungary in August to catch good weather. If I head to Hungary after Germany it will be toward the end of September, which makes me think all their cool summer stuff will be done. I already have my accommodations for Oktoberfest, so I definitely have to be back in Germany by September 16th.
I guess the big push to go to Hungary from Prague is the weather.
