Places around Freising to chill after lots of travel?

After our Danube cruise, we are staying at a hotel in Freising for one night. If we feel like doing something more relaxed than traveling into Munich for another day of active touring, are there any recommended more 'laid back' places to visit?
Thanks!

There are few laid back sites in Freising that we like.

The Domberg (Cathedral on the Hill) has a beautiful baroque chapel. It is worth the walk up to it.

Freising has the oldest active brewery (Weihenstephan) in the world. We have not toured the brewery but much enjoy its gardens and the views out over the valley.

Freising is also crisscrossed with streams and pathways. We have enjoyed these paths through the town and for casual walks into the countryside.

Therme Erding is highly recommended as a place to relax near Freising. Just do a search and you'll find lots of info about it.

I suppose it depends if you like beer. Main Street Freising is worth a walk, someone mentioned the Dom, but just spending some time in the Weihenstephan beer garden or the much smaller, but just as good (maybe better) Wirsthaus Weissbrau Huber would take up my day (Well, it did on my last trip). As was mentioned, Erdel is nearby, so take a look at what might attract you, but overall, there is enough to do in Freising.

I also like the Wirsthaus Weissbrau Huber. Reservations are a good idea for weekend evenings.
