Pharmacy in Berlin

I had two negative covid tests so this must be some cold or something.

I went to “Arminius”and another drug store connected to REWE. But they only have plant based medicines that don’t really cut it. I’m looking for dextromethorphan or similar cough suppressant. Both places came up with pharmacy search on google I guess I should have told google pharmacy with pharmaceuticals.

If you go to an Apotheke-you can tell the pharmacist your symptoms and what you need. The stores usually have a big letter A outside instead of the green cross of other European countries. I don't think you were at the right places.

Look up Apotheke and they will have it.

Here in Germany we differentiate between Apotheke (Apothecary/Pharmacy) and Drogerie (Drugstore) you have visited a Drogerie which have only have plantbased stuff and household wares. For real medicine you have to go to a Apotheke. Be advised that not all medications are sold without a prescription. As usual the people working there have a very thorough education and can give you good advice,
