Pergamon Museum

Below is a paste from the museum's website. We are confused--are the exhibits OTHER than the alter open, or only the Panorama? We will be visiting in mid May.

Significant artefacts from Pergamon along with the monumental panorama by Yadegar Asisi are on display in the exhibition building Pergamonmuseum. Das Panorama, located in the direct vicinity of the Museumsinsel. The Pergamonmuseum is completely closed to the public due to construction work.

The Pergamon Museum’s website only says that “large sculptures and other important objects” from the museum will be on display at the Das Panorama exhibit. It doesn’t identify what exactly is on display.
Berlin was one major European city I hadn’t been to until finally getting there in 2021 and the main reason was to see the Babylonian Gate of Ishtar at the Pergamon Museum. So glad to have seen it because I had no idea the museum would be completely closed until 2027 when the Gate of Ishtar and other incredible artifacts will once again be on display.
