Ok so I bought tickets to Germany on Dec 5, than to Luxemberg, Spain and Portugal plus some hotels etc…
Sadly after all this I realized my passport expires in February 24’ ! Yikes!
I have an appointment on nov 27th to expedite a new passport. Fingers crossed I get it quickly.
Are there any visas or anything else I need to do or know beforehand?

Yes I’m a US citizen
Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, and Portugal are all Schengen members. There are no passport formalities when going between them.
As long as you have a valid passport, you are good to go.

Though almost everyone on this forum is very helpful and knowledgeable, and the response you received is correct, you really should be using official sources to find out if you need a visa to travel to a foreign country instead of randos on an internet forum.

I expect the question is actually about the ETIAS which doesn't exist yet and has been vaporware for several years - it is not an issue.
