Passport control for connected flight travelers

I will have a connected flight from Amsterdam to Frankfurt to Belgrade operated by Lufthansa. I am a non-EU citizen.
Could you please tell me where the passport control is located in the corridor for a connecting flight?

Kind regards,

Amsterdam to Frankfurt is much like a domestic flight in the US, so no immigration, but you will have to show your passport at security as ID.

In Frankfurt, you will change to the international terminal, and have to go through Schengen exit immigration, then on to your gate.

In Belgrade, you will likely do immigration and passport control into Serbia.

Don't worry about finding exit immigration. You will have to go through it to get to your gate. It's on the way. You can't miss it.

At Amsterdam Schiphol Airport you don’t have to show your passport at security. You do need to scan your boarding pass to be able to enter the area where the security checks take place but that’s it. Only when you fly to a non-Schengen Schengen destination, will security be followed by passport control. If you fly to a Schengen destination, you don’t have to do anything else.
There are however some airlines that ask you to present both your passport and boarding pass when you board the plane.
