Planning on going to the Passion Play in 2020 and would like to hear from others any tips or things not to do. Looking at the hotels on offer and guessing that all of the hotels in the area will have similar prices, but wondering how difficult it is to have lunch/dinner during the 3 hour break if you haven't booked one of the packages?
Is there anyone who booked everything separately (hotel, meals, play ticket) and wished they had just gotten the package deal? I am leaning towards just getting the package unless someone has gone and found the opposite to be easy as well as a lot cheaper.
Did you stay there 2 nights or just one night?
Nobody on this forum has been to the Passion Play?
Someone replied on the recent question about how to get tickets to the Passion Play mentioning they went in the 1990’s. On the Germany forum.
Yes, I saw that post cause I also wrote a post on that thread. They didn't give any information at all about it though, just that they liked it.
Just really hoping to hear more information about the rest of the day, the meals, shuttles, etc.
Never been to the play but stayed with these lovely people quite a while back, they are/were involved with the play:
