We are planning on staying in St Goar instead of Bacharach because we are coming from the north and are arriving late in the day. We would like to catch the last boat to Bacharach at 5 pm and take the train back to St Goar after dinner. I am concerned that this last boat might be full. Are there other options for boat rental in St Goar? Perhaps private individuals?

The boats never get ful in a technical sense, i.e. there are no reservations. More then often they don't in a physical sense either.

The ships are never full and especially later in the day, they won't be as crowded as most people aren't riding them late in the day.
