one day free on a business trip - Rhine and wine!

I will be in Frankfurt for a business trip in mid-August, and I have one day (a Monday) free to explore. I travelled to Frankfurt last year and spent a few days exploring the lovely city. I've also explored the Rhine via different stops on a train during the winter, so I've seen a few castles.

I'm looking for recommendations for seeing the Rhine via one of the boat tours, as well as any wineries I could visit for a tasting that day.

I only have this one full day, so want to make the best of it.

Check for dates of street wine festival in Frankfurt. Many German wineries require appointments. It will be hard to KD cruise AND have time for Rhine wineries. There’s a nice wine cafe across the street from the Boppard train station. (Thats a Bingen to Boppard hint ...)
