Olympic Stadium in Munich for Taylor Swift

Hey All-
My wife and I are going to see Taylor Swift at the Olympic Stadium in Munich on July 27th (I know, I'm taking one for the team here, but at least it gets me to Germany for awhile!). I'm sure we'll be spending quite awhile at the venue. Just wondering if anybody has an idea of food and beer costs there? I just don't want to be surprised.

Thanks,
Dan

Dan, have you been to a stadium event (sports or otherwise) in the US? I can’t answer your question directly for this stadium in Munich, but here in Seattle the beer and wine costs are about $10-15/each , popcorn and peanuts about $8-12 and a stadium meal about $15-25, depending on what your choice is.

Expensive. I think the only surprise would be if you went to a stadium and found inexpensive food and beverages.

And don’t underestimate the talent and showmanship (or show woman ship) that is Taylor Swift; whether you are a fan or not. The energy is electric.

I would expect American pricing based on friend reporting who have gone to her overseas shows. I will be a lone dissenter but as a 42 year old lady i don't understand the Taylor fandom. I find her music generic.

Hey all- I don't expect it to be cheap, but just wondering because US prices are all over the board. We just went to a Justin Timberlake concert (another one that I took for the team) at the United Center in Chicago. Beers were $20 a piece. If it's comparable and we're spending most of the day there, I'll make sure to bring a couple of credit cards.

Dan,

There have been many posts from Swifties seeking travel advice in Germany. You may want to search this forum for those posts and then direct message the OPs after the have seen their respective shows. Even though each venue will be different, they may be able to give you some perspective on offerings and prices they experienced.

It’s altogether too bad that you won’t get to see the Hoff perform when you are in Germany; he’s not on tour and busy with stuff in Dubai.

I have not been to a concert in Munich but I have been to a Bayern Munich soccer match at Allianz and prices were very similar to US stadium prices (High!).

Fun, lively crowd!
