We have tickets to the Passion Play in July that we purchased on our own, not part of a package. Any suggestions for restaurant reservations during intermission? Thank you.

I don’t have a specific recommendation but You should probably get your reservations as soon as possible. With a 4700 seat theatre in a town with 5300 residents they might be hard to come by. Another option would be to picnic.

Our best meal during a 3-night stay in Oberammergau was at Ammergauer Maxbrau, a short walk from the center of town.

We did the Passion Play 30 years ago and don't remember having a problem with lunch. Of course, we may have done something like grab a bratwurst and kraut from a stand.
