Im coming from scandanavia and would like to visit germany for a few days. What part of Germany should I visit so that I can get a flight back to the states from there?

You could visit Berlin, OR Munichand Bavaria, or fly into Frankfurt and explore to the RHINE (Cologne, etc). Frankfurt probably has the most flights to the US.

Are you coming by train, car or flying in?
I'd stay in Northern Germany and explore Hamburg and maybe Lübeck and some of the traditional cities on the Baltic. Or do Hamburg and Berlin, keeping in mind that you do need at last 3 days (better 4) to get a good feel for Berlin. Hamburg is rather under-rated but a fascinating city!
