Neuschwanstein tix: applied onlinebut never heard back

Guten tag,
We will be in Munich in August. I went to the official Neuschwanstein website to get tickets online about two weeks ago. Their procedure is to specify a date and time and give them a credit card number and then they will e-mail tickets to you later. Problem is that I never received any email back from them. Perhaps it just did not go through. Has anyone else ordered tickets online? How long did it take to get them? I am just not sure how long "later" is for them.

Sorry to ask the obvious...have you checked your junk/spam mail folder?

Did you check your credit card to see if you have a charge from Neuschwanstein Castle? Could be the date/time you specified is unavailable. Receiving no answer is your answer.

I sent my request on May 14 for a Sep 6 date. I got the response on May 26. Maybe they've gotten busier as the summer has progressed. I would definitely call them if you don't hear soon.

Send them an email at info(at)ticket-center-hohenschwangau.de. They should have people that can read English. I've written to them in German, and because of my location they replied in English.

Thanks so much for all of your advice. I looked in the spam folder, checked my credit card statement. Found nothing. So, I e-mailed the ticket office, thinking I wouldn't hear from them until Monday at the earliest. But, I got a response today with a reservation. As suggested, they are just very busy.

I really appreciate all of your responses.
