I think I'm having a pre-travel prep overload!
Can someone confirm that we will need to redeem our online tickets for actual tickets at Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwagau?
Or ... Can we use the QR code we received directly at the castle entrances? I've seen conflicting advice.

We only visited Hohenschwagau, but the QR code seemed to be what is important. I had printed our tickets from what was sent online because I’ve had phone problems before, but I saw plenty of people scanning codes from their phones.

You don’t necessarily have to print out your tickets. You are welcome to scan the QR code from your smartphone/tablet, provided your device is charged, the code is clearly visible and your screen is not damaged.
